The educational concept of the center is based on a combination of theoretical classes and practical master classes. The Academy of Saint-Gobain plans to conduct educational courses for practicing specialists in a variety of construction professions, as well as for architects and designers, who are increasingly faced with the need to use innovative materials in their projects.
Gonzaga de Pire noted: “The task of our center is to show that today the introduction of multi-comfort construction principles into real construction practice is not only possible, but also necessary. This allows you to significantly reduce subsequent operating costs (for heating, electricity, water consumption and heating, etc.) and create comfortable conditions for human life, work and leisure. Saint-Gobain’s initiative has already been approved by our partners and clients – construction industry professionals, who now have the opportunity to clearly study the benefits of innovative construction technologies.”
After the opening ceremony, training events were held for employees/representatives of invited companies. After educational lectures and demonstrations of materials and work with them, a competition was held on orientation and use of materials from the Saint-Gobain company. Based on the results of the competition, a team of representatives from the Institute of MAKhPI named after. Academician Polyansky, took first place.
