A sports complex with a swimming pool will soon appear in the north-east of the capital in Bibirevo. It is being built for the state professional educational institution “MSSUOR No. 4 named after A. Ya. Gomelsky” Moskomsport.
“The complex will have three sports areas: a large games room, a gym, a swimming pool with a bowl measuring 25x16 meters, as well as auxiliary rooms. High-quality modern materials will be used in the decoration of facades and interiors,” said Sergei Kuznetsov, chief architect of Moscow, first deputy chairman of the Moscow Committee for Architecture.
The sports complex with a height of 3-4 floors will be located on Leskova Street, 25a. The building itself will contain: a 25x16 meter swimming pool, a gym, a multi-purpose games room, locker rooms with showers and toilets, trainers and equipment, a wardrobe, a security point and a control room, a medical area with offices for a doctor and a nurse on duty, a massage room with two tables, a sauna , methodological office, administrative, household and technical premises, as well as a 1000 kg elevator, equipped for people with limited mobility.
