Kommunarka received a new radiation therapy building

The new radiation therapy building as part of the Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center (MMCC) Kommunarka is preparing to open. Sergei Sobyanin stated this during an inspection of the facility.

As he noted, the building was equipped with the most modern equipment.

“This is an entire medical city that will provide high-quality services not only to the TiNAO, but also to the districts of Old Moscow. In general, millions of people here will receive high-quality medical care,” the mayor emphasized.

Construction of the radiation therapy building was completed in January of this year. The area of the building is 19.9 thousand square meters. The building is designed for 26 beds for a 24-hour hospital and 50 beds for a day hospital.

A radionuclide diagnostics department will open in the building, where doctors will detect malignant neoplasms in the early stages. The latest medical equipment was purchased for equipment. The building will be able to accept its first patients in the fall.
