The project of the Center for Social Services for the Population of the Biryulyovo Western District (Medynskaya St., no. 11A), developed at JSC "MAKhPI named after Academician Polyansky", was among the nominees for the Moscow Architectural Council Award in the category "Best architectural and urban planning solution for a public facility."<\/p>\n
As part of the III annual Exhibition-Competition of the Moscow Committee for Architecture with nominations in the field of architecture and urban planning, the Moscow Architectural Council Prize will be awarded to the 6 best projects that received the AGR (approved architectural and urban planning solution) in 2015. The number of candidates for victory included 25 objects in 6 categories:
\n- object of education and medicine;
\n\u2014 economy class residential building;
\n\u2014 luxury residential building;
\n\u2014 office and administrative facility;
\n\u2014 commercial and household facility;
\n- a public facility.
\nAt the first stage of the competition, members of the Architectural Council selected 3-4 best objects in each nomination from the total number of objects that received an approved architectural and urban planning solution in 2015, which is about 1 thousand projects. At the second stage of the competition, a competent jury will select 6 winners, one for each nomination. The evaluation criteria will be: the innovative component of the design, the quality of urban planning and architectural solutions, competent work with the landscape and landscaping of the territory.
\nAccording to the Chairman of the Architectural Council and the chief architect of the city of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov, this year\u2019s projects are distinguished by well-thought-out development plans, a variety of solutions in the design of facades, and the attention of architects to the creation of recreational areas and the creation of comfortable conditions for people with limited mobility.
\nThe results of the competition will be announced at a ceremony on December 25, 2015, which will take place at 11-00 in the Great Hall of the Architectural Council, in the building of the Moskomarkhitektura on Triumphal Square.<\/p>\n
